How data is handled
What is needed
Search exports from the clinical system, and access to the record to read the documents behind a finding — a result, a discharge summary, a clinic letter. Without sight of the evidence, a candidate list is guesswork.
Those exports contain patient names, dates of birth and NHS numbers. They have to: a work list is no use if the practice cannot identify who is on it. So the question that matters is not whether identifiable data is involved — it is where those files go.
How it is transferred
Over NHSMail. Never through this website, never through a file sharing service, never through personal email. There is no upload form here and there never will be.

Where processing happens
Locally — on an NHS laptop connected over the practice's Cisco VPN, or on practice equipment. Nothing is sent to an external service at any stage.
No AI system is involved in the processing. The logic is fixed and rule-based, which is what makes every row explainable: ask why a patient appeared on the list and the answer is the same rule, applied the same way, every time the search is run.
What the output is
Candidates for clinical review. Not diagnoses, and not instructions.
Every list is verified by a clinician at the practice before any patient is contacted. That is not a disclaimer added at the end — it is the point of the work. A list nobody checks is worse than no list at all, because it puts wrong codes onto the record faster than they were coming off it.
Under whose agreements
The practice's own. The work is carried out under the data agreements the practice already holds, on its instructions. No separate arrangement with a third party is created, because no third party is involved.

Practices differ on what they will allow and how. If your arrangements need something done differently, ask before we start rather than after.
